Fingerprinting Services: By appointment, call SSgt. Doug Sugden @ 735-4866.  $10 for the first two cards- $5 for each additional card.

 

Cash, local check, and credit cards are accepted payment.  Cash is required for some services.  A convenience fee is added for use of credit and debit cards- $1.00 + 3%.

Testing Hours:

Remember all testing is payable in cash only, no checks or cards.

Class D written exams : If you are not up to the counter and your application started before , you will need to return another day.

Class A, B, C written exams : If you are not up to the counter and your application started before , you will need to return another day.

Testing with Language Translators: Contact our office for appointment times.

The Driver’s License Section is overseen by Jenny Anton and reports to SSgt. Doug Sugden who oversees the Support Services Division and report directly to the Sheriff and Undersheriff.

 

For the public’s convenience, our Driver’s License Section of Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office is located in the DMV Building, located at 260 4th Avenue North, one block west of our Sheriffs Office. In addition to our Drivers License Unit, this building also includes the Assessors Auto License, County Coroner and County Veteran Services Officer.

In Idaho, the State (Idaho Transportation Department) mandates the rules and regulations in each county, and the county Sheriff’s Office provides the services as dictated in Idaho Code.

Our Twin Falls Drivers License Office is a full service office. It is our desire to offer you quality services with the knowledge that you are dealing with a law enforcement agency and your personal information will be handled with professionalism, strict security and confidentiality. We encourage you to contact our Examiners by telephone to check on procedures, requirements, etc. before making your trip to the office. This may eliminate extra trips and time. Some of our services are payable in cash only.
